Mary Knickerbocker

Mary Knickerbocker, 81, of Williams, Iowa died on Friday, January 14, 2022. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, January 21, from 5 – 7 PM at Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) in Webster City, IA.

Mary was born on July 22, 1940, in Minnesota to Ernest and Maxine (Dahl) Myers. She married Carroll Knickerbocker on December 14, 1956, in Webster City, Iowa. Mary worked as a waitress for many years.

She enjoyed many different hobbies including sewing, baking, gardening, arts, crafts, and helping Carroll with his woodworking projects. Mary was a Hawkeye fan. Most of all she enjoyed times spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mary’s family includes children: Jackie (Max) Fonken of Williams, and Jody (David) Wagner of Kamrar; grandchildren: Mike, Rachel (Keith) Ben, Sarah (Zach), Christin, and Jordan; seven great-grandchildren: Ariah, Nya, Owen, Maxtyn, Jacoby, MiKayla and Carter; sister Dorothy (Tom) Smith; brothers: John (Candy) Myers, Ernest “Bud” Myers, and Jim Myers. She was preceded in death by her husband; son Jeff; sister Cheryl Alt; Sisters-in-law: Janet Myers and Janice Myers.
