Mildred Lurene Mollison

Mildred Lurene Mollison, 94, of Webster City died Friday, November 28, 2014, at Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City.  Memorial Service will be Friday December 5, at 11 AM at the Asbury United Methodist Church with Pastor Jeff Flagg officiating.  Visitation will precede the service from 10:30-11:00 AM.  Boman Funeral Home of Webster City is in charge of arrangement www.bomanfh.com Memorials will be given to the Angel Tree Project.
Mildred was born on January 1, 1920 to William Robert Norris and Golden Kinder Norris in Decatur County.  She married William Elmo Mollison on April 8, 1938 in Leon, Iowa.  After several years of marriage they moved to Oregon where they lived for a few years before returning to Iowa where they lived in the Hamilton County area until moving back to Southern Iowa.  After her husband passed away Mildred moved to Webster City to be close to her children, she spent the last 7 years residing at Windsor Manor.  She worked at many jobs in the area, but is remembered most as a cook for the Kamrar School.  Mildred was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed cooking, puzzles, knitting, and her grandchildren.
Her family includes:  son Dale Mollison of Brighton, CO; daughters Sharon (Lewis) Hassebrock of Webster City,  and Connie (Steve) Willman of Blue Springs, MO; daughter-in-law Sandra Mollison of Ankeny, IA; 12 grandchildren:  Troy (Christine) Hassebrock of Blairsburg, Todd (Mary) Hassebrock of Williams, Eric (Alison) Hassebrock of Jewell, Rex (Angie) Anderson of Bertram, TX, Kim Anderson of Stratford, Jill (Jody) Weigel of Hiawatha,  Maria (Tom) Steffen of Polk City, James (Jill) Mollison of Des Moines, Kyle Mollison of CO, Koby (Mary) Mollison of NV, Kory Mollison of CA and Kirby Mollison of CO; 26 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Dwight, daughter-in-law Jolene; three brothers and three sisters.
