Ruby Mae Cutshall passed into eternity on Thursday, March 7th, 2013 at Van Diest Medical Center, Webster City, Iowa. She was 83 years old and resided at Southfield Wellness Community.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11:30 AM at Faith United Methodist Church in Webster City. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in Butler Center Cemetery. Boman Funeral Home of Webster City is in charge. Bomanfh.com
Ruby was born on a farm Northeast of Wellman, Iowa on May 11, 1929, the daughter of Aaron S. & Mary (Schrock) Hochstetler.  She graduated from 8th grade at a rural school in Washington Township in Johnson County, Iowa.  She worked as a housekeeper / nanny for several years in Iowa City.  She loved the farm life, enjoyed gardening, and raising flowers in the house and outside. Her hobbies included quilting and embroidery.  Ruby’s family and her personal relationship with Christ were the two most important things in her life.
 She married Leo Russell Cutshall on October 11, 1955 near Wellman, IA.  Ruby and her husband Leo raised their children and enjoyed life on the family farm near Allison, IA.  They relocated to Webster City upon retiring in 1998.
Ruby is survived by her five children: sons Joe (Sandy) of Ida Grove, Iowa, Steve (Ann) of Allison, Iowa, daughters: Ruth (Roger) Steig of Webster City, Iowa, Laura (Jim) Norman of Clinton, Iowa, and Susan (Scott) Eberly of Coralville, Iowa. Grandchildren include Meg, Aaron (Ally), Leah, and Amy Cutshall; Ryan, Reginald, Rachel and Rebecca Steig; Emily, Kyle, Lindsey, Molly Norman; Alexander, Rubanna, Maryann, & John Cutshall; Quinten and Cole Eberly, brothers, Frank (Mary) and Sam Hochstetler, Sister Edna (Gene) Miller.
 Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Gladys Smith, Brother Carl Hochstetler, son David and granddaughter Elizabeth.
