Troy Lee Sego

Troy was born to John & Sheryl (Nairn) Sego on September 28, 1963 in Webster City, IA.  He attended Clarion Schools, graduating in 1982.  Troy took his lineman electrician training at the Sheldon Technical Institute.  He continued with his training and earned the title of master electrician.  His first job was an electrician for Borheishu/Larson construction in Iowa Falls.  Troy then moved and worked for the city of West Bend and eventually moving back to the area to work for the city of Webster City. In the early 1990’s he started Sego Electric.
 On March 31, 1995 he married Lynn Marie Weicht in Webster City.  Troy was an avid athlete. He loved playing golf, slow-pitch softball, along with bowling, fishing & hunting.  The couple enjoyed their gambling trips and for the last several years they spent summer weekends at their home on Big Spirit Lake.
 His family includes: his wife of 20 years, Lynn; two sons Adam (Charissa) Flege and their son Jeriah all of Des Moines & Alex Flege of Webster City; parents John & Sheryl Sego of Clarion; brother Marty (Mel) Sego of Webster City & sister Sonya (Rod) Middleton of Eagle Grove.

Troy L Sego, 51, of Rural Webster City died Sunday July 19, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family.  His service will be held Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Faith United Methodist Church in Webster City with Rev. Michael Slininger.  A visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 – 8 at the church.
