Adam Cress

Adam Scott Cress was born on July 22, 1979, in Iowa City, IA, the son of Linda Bush and Scott Cress. He was raised in Williams and educated at Northeast Hamilton in Blairsburg, graduating with the “Class of 1997”. He later attended Augsburg College in Minneapolis Mn.

Adam coached community college volleyball in Marshalltown, Mt Vernon, and also for multiple club traveling teams.  He also worked for Sizewise medical supply company. Adam loved Star Wars and enjoyed spending his time building LEGO sets of all kinds.

Adam is survived by his parents, Linda (Roger) Bush and Scott (Toni) Cress; sister Elizabeth (Tom) Mason; nephews: Brian and Aidan, and grandmothers: Lorraine Fielder and Lorna Cress. 

Adam passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the age of 44 years.  He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Harold Fielder and Russell Cress.
