Allan Richard Spangler

Allan Richard Spangler, 59, of Stratford, died on Monday, June 3, 2019, at the Stratford Nursing Home in Stratford, Iowa. Visitation will be held at Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) on Saturday, June 8, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, with Military Honors at 4:00 PM.

Allan was born on September 4, 1959, in Elizabeth, NJ to Harvey and Luanne (Schmidtke) Spangler. He graduated from the Webster City High School in 1977. During high school, Allan worked at Leon’s Pizza in Webster City. After graduation he was in the Marine Corps from 1977 to 1997, his duties included Oversight on the Military Equipment. He then worked for Trump Card Trucking Company in California as a local trucker until 2016 when he retired and moved to Texas. Allan was a member of a motorcycle club that held races in the California desert.

Allan’s family includes his mother Luanne Baker; one son and a sister. He was preceded in death by his father.
