Beverly was born on April 27, 1928, to Kenneth and Dorice (Ward) Harrison in Redfield, Iowa. She was active in high school as a varsity basketball player and participated in the Iowa Girls State Tournament as a senior. After graduation, she moved to Des Moines and started working for Allied Mutual Insurance Company and played basketball for their company team. She was recruited by Look Magazine to play basketball for them continuing in the Women’s SemiPro Basketball League. She had an amazing hook shot. Women’s basketball remained a lifelong interest, including her involvement in the startup of girl’s high school basketball in Webster City. She was also an avid golfer throughout her adult life and was several times the winner of the women’s championship at Webster City Country Club. Beverly enjoyed many sports. She generally had a game on the TV and earphones in listening to a different game. She loved gardening and always had beautiful indoor plants, outdoor flowerbeds, and bountiful produce. She enjoyed baking homemade goodies and sewing. Beverly was one of the founders of a once a month bridge club that has endured for 57 years and was still playing. When her children got older, Beverly was employed at McMurray Hatchery in Webster City, retiring after 25 years of service. Family was very important to Beverly especially enjoying her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

On March 28, 1948, she married Wayne O. (Bud) Frazer, a union that lasted for 68 wonderful years until Bud’s passing in 2016. In addition to Bud, she was preceded in death by daughter Melody Sharp (Alton), son-in-law Richard Feldman, and grandson Eric Frazer. She is survived by son Gary Frazer (Sandra); daughters Connie Frazer (Brad Johnson) and Michele Feldman (Richard); grandchildren Kevin Frazer (Jessica), Ryan Frazer, Joel Feldman, Jenny Schipull (Ben) and Jake Feldman; and great-grandchildren Owen Frazer, Jacob Frazer, Wyatt Schipull and Taylor Schipull.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to The Lupus Foundation of America or Asbury United Methodist Church.
