Brent Martin

Brent Samuel Martin, 53, of Webster City, Iowa, died on Thursday, May 23, 2024.  Visitation will be held on June 5, 2024, from 5-7 PM at Boman Funeral Home (www.Bomanfh.com). The burial will be at 1:00 PM, on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Homewood Cemetery, Ellsworth Iowa.

Brent was born on January 20, 1971, to Lloyd and Marilyn (Peterson) Martin in Webster City, Iowa.  He graduated from Webster City High School in 1989, and then studied welding at Iowa Central Community College.  After College he work at several different places including Tasler Pallet, Grid Iron Restaurant, Kenco Shipping, Certified Transmission, Welder for Central Transmission and Viaggio Pontoon Boats, he also built machine sheds.

Brent enjoyed the time he spent on his motorcycle with his Harley brothers and sisters, often participating in Poker Runs, raising money for many different worthy causes.  He was a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and ISU.  He loved his pets, especially his last dog Thor the Great Dane.  Brent was a loving caring guy who was always there for others.

Brent’s family includes his parents Lloyd and Marilyn Martin of Webster City; sister Dawn Niles of Webster City; aunts: Joan Coleman, Kathy Vinsant, and Barb Linburg; uncles:  John Handley and Larry Linberg; several cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents; aunts:  Carol Naber and Dixie Handley; uncles:  Maris Naber, Wayne Dalbey, Jerry Vinsant, Larry Coleman and Kenny Martin.
