Bruce Lane Jorgensen, 60 of Webster City, died Tuesday, December 3, at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Bruce was born on November 28, 1953 in Sioux Falls, SD to Virgil and Gladys (Hansen) Jorgensen.  When He was in the 9th Grade, the family moved to Webster City.  Bruce graduated from the Webster City High School in 1972.  He Married Rita Louise Shadbolt on October 12, 1974.
Bruce worked at Britson Distributing and then was employed at Electrolux from 1982-2007.  He was a member of the UAW.  Early family activities included drive in theater, and he was known for saying “Yep, doin alright” when family would visit in him.  Bruce enjoyed watching Sports on TV, Hunting, Cars, visiting with friends, music with special interest in Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, Bruce kept up with the changes through the years.
His family includes:  his mother, three children:  Anthony (Mandy) Jorgensen of Humboldt, David Jorgensen and Tina (Arthur) Loyd both of Webster City; four grandchildren; two sisters: Bonnie (Andy) Wiles of Las Cruces, NM, and Vickie Hardin of Omaha, NE; one Brother Don (Karen) Jorgensen of Omaha, NE.  Bruce was preceded in death by his wife, and his father.
Funeral Services will be Monday, December 9 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Webster City.  Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 at Boman Funeral Home in Webster City.  Burial will be at the Graceland Cemetery in Webster City.  Boman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.  www.bomanfh.com
