Carolyn Elaine (Ratcliff) Sanders

Carolyn Elaine (Ratcliff) Sanders, 77, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, died on Monday, March 30, 2020, at the Paula Baber Hospice Home in Ft. Dodge. Private family services will be held at a later date. The Family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) to care for their needs.

Carolyn was born on January 27, 1943 in Webster City, IA to Jacob and Beulah (Bige) Ratcliff. She attended School in Eagle Grove Graduating with the class of 1961. She then attended the Eagle Grove Jr. College.

Over the years Carolyn worked at various jobs including teller at 1st State Bank, Abens Realty, Wayne Dohrman & Associates; managing a jewelry store in Southridge Mall; GNC in Kansas City; Des Moines Fly; and Trophies & More in Webster City.

Carolyn enjoyed square dancing, and camping, she especially enjoyed spending time being in nature. She like all animals but loved her cats the most.

Her family includes her brothers: Vern (Viola) Ratcliff, and Bruce Ratcliff all of Webster City; Sisters: Phyllis (Wayne) Dohrmann of Manson, Iowa and Linda (Tom) Devitt of Minnatonka, MN; Several nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews; She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Sandi Ratcliff.
