Clair Mayfield 62, of Webster City, died Sunday October 18, 2015 at the Paula Barbar Hospice House in Ft.  Dodge.  Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 24 at 6PM, At Boman Funeral Home, with a visitation prior to the service from 5-6 PM.

He was born on February 13, 1953 to Clair and Virginia (Carson) Mayfield on February 13, 1953 in Humansville, Missouri.  Clair graduated from the Humansville High School in 1969.  He was married to Vickie after high school, but they later divorced.  He served in the Navy on the Aircraft Carrier USS Handcock during Vietnam.  He moved to Webster City where he worked at Custom Meats for 32 Years.  Clair was an avid hunter and was a member of Pheasants Forever and Ducks Unlimited.  His collections included many Pheasant and Duck Prints.

His family includes his son Lee (Shanae) Olson of Beaver Dam, WI; grandson Xavier Olson; sisters:  Francisca Glass of Baltimore, MD, Mary Giboney of Springfield MO and Wanda Harmon of Stuart Town, PA; brothers: George Mayfield of Stuart Town, PA, and Andrew Mayfield of Baltimore, MD.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Irene in infancy.
