David Koester

David was born on April 28, 1955, in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Delbert and Virginia (Fox) Koester.  He graduated from Webster City High School in 1973.  He married Susan Ewing on November 27, 1987, the couple later divorced.  David worked as a lineman for Northwestern Bell Phone Company, as well as being a farmer all his life.  He farmed both livestock and crops for Dinsdale Farms.

David was a member of FFA, 4H and a Tiger Scouts leader, he attended Sunday School at South Enes Lutheran Church.  He enjoyed farming, animals, and plants.  He loved playing computer games, racing with his two sons and family.  He was an Avid NASCAR fan, especially Kyle Busch (KFB). 

David’s family includes his children:  Alyssa (Zack) Koester, of Pilot Mound, Whitney Miller, of Pilot Mound, and Dylan (Caitlin) Koester, of Webster City Eric Frana (son by choice) of Carlisle; grandchildren:  Shaylynn, Jordyn, Mckynley, Creed, and Addison; sister Kari (Dave) Leiser of Fort Dodge; and his Dog Daphne Louise.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two children:  Jarid Koester, and Bridget Koester; and brother Bruce Koester.
