David "Wizard" Ward

David “Wizard” Russell Ward, 76, of Webster City, died on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the Van Diest Medical Center, in Webster City.  Visitation will be held on February 18, 2023 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) in Webster City.

David was born on February 2, 1946 to Calvin and Clara (Hagie) Ward.  After High School he was drafted, trained as a sniper, and served for two years during the Vietnam War.  He then went on to work as a CNC operator for Arrow Acme, Frigidaire, and Merts.  In 1986 he married Linda McFarland.

David was a member of his local union.  He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with his daughter Kindra.
