Delmar "Buzz" Wiener

Delmar “Buzz” Wiener, 90, of Webster City, died Monday, August 4, 2020, at his home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lehigh, Iowa. The family has entrusted Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) to care for their needs.

Delmar was born on June 5, 1930 in Galt Iowa, to Ernest and Gladys (Heffelmeier) Wiener. He married Nancy Elsberry in Princeton, MO on May 12, 1962. Delmar worked at Arrow Acme in Webster City until his retirement in 1992.

In his younger years Delmar enjoyed hunting and fishing. He liked to listen to country western music and watching Nascar on TV. Delmar always had a positive attitude and was very helpful to family and people in his neighborhood.

His family includes his children: Lona (Steve Goff) Culver of Webster City, Randy “Frog” (Deb) Wiener of Edgewater, Florida, Diane (Mike) LaSourd, of Webster City, Penny Kanz of Webster City, Annette (Joseph) Dinoto, of Montana, and Jeff Wiener of Webster City, IA; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife in 2011.
