Dona Jaycox

Dona Jaycox, 83, of Webster City, IA died on Friday December 4, 2015 at Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City.  Memorial Services will be Tuesday, December 8 at 11 AM at the 1st Congregational Church of Christ, with a visitation prior to the service from 10- 11AM.  The family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (www.Bomanfh.com) to care for their needs.
 
Dona was born on June 17, 1932 in Webster City, Iowa to Jacob and Esther (Anderson) Severson.  She attended and Graduated from the Webster City Schools.  Dona was married to Roger Kieth Jaycox on July 17, 1949, in Webster City.  In addition to raising her family, she worked as a Home Designer for Home Appliance, Hahne printing and as a Bookkeeper for Jaycox Construction.
 
Dona was a member of the Webster City Country Club, the 1st Congregational Church of Christ and the Morning Star Circle at Church.  She enjoyed golf, ISU and Iowa football games, wintering in Texas and raising roses at her home.
 
Her family includes her son Lynn (Deb) Jaycox of Webster City; daughter-in-law Sue Jaycox of Webster City; four grandchildren: Scott (Juli) Jaycox, Sara (Tyler) Abens, Kari (Jeff) Rabe; and Tracy (Brandon) Bahrenfuss all of Webster City; 7 great grandchildren; two sisters: Vicky Severson and Mary Housburg.  She was preceded in death by her husband; son Rodney; four brothers: John, Leonard, Richard, and Roger; and two siblings in infancy.
