Donna Capsel

Donna Capsel, 87, of Webster City, died on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at the Stratford Specialty Care in Stratford Iowa.  Visitation will be on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 6:00-8:00- PM at Boman Funeral Home, with A Memorial Service on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 1:00 PM, also at Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) in Webster City, IA.

Donna was born on December 22, 1935, in Webster City, Iowa, to Luther and Vera (Boozell) Myers.  She attended Webster City Schools.  She married Chuck Capsel on May 1, 1959.  Over the years Donna worked at a bakery in the high school, then a home for the handicapped, and the Hamilton County Hospital for many years.  In her retirement years, she enjoyed baking, doing word searches and spending time with family and friends.

Her family includes daughter Karen Danielson; sons: Kevin Capsel and Kraig Capsel; several grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and son Kurtis.
