Howard Dean Jondal, 83 of Webster City passed away on Sunday November 8, 2015 at Southfield Wellness Center. A Funeral Service will be held at Boman Funeral Home on Friday, November 13 at 2PM, with a visitation preceding the service from 1-2PM, burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Webster City. Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) is serving the family.
He was born on July 18, 1932 to Berton and Mabel Jondal in Webster City, Iowa. Howard served in the United States navy during the Korean War from 1952 – 1956. He married Deloris Cooley on February 21, 1959. Howard worked for Morton’s Frozen Food, Curve Inn Motors, and B&B Repair. He was an avid fan of football, racing and go-carting. He played guitar, loved watching westerns and listening to country and western music. Howard was never too busy to help someone out.
Howard’s family includes his children: Kim Clabaugh of Webster City, IA, Darrel Jondal of Webster City, IA and Wanda Humlicek of La Crescent, MN; 16 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; two uncles; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife Deloris; son Harold; his parents and four siblings.
