Keith Evans

Keith Alan Evans, of Webster City, IA, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Southfield Wellness Community. Visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be Friday, June 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Webster City. Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) is in charge of arrangements.

Keith was born on July 31, 1953, to Roy and Helen (Peterson) Evans. He attended Webster City Schools and graduated with the WCHS Class of 71. Upon his graduation Keith served in the United States Marine Corps and later attended both Iowa Central Community and Wartburg College.

Throughout his life, he was dedicated to serving his community. He spent many years as a brick mason and in construction alongside his father. He later became an independent businessman, was a school bus driver and worked for the Webster City Parks and Recreation Department. Keith devoted countless hours to local youth programs as a coach, referee, and umpire. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion Post 191 in Webster City, and a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Keith enjoyed all sports and was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and many teams. He played in a basketball league and refereed at Fuller Hall. He enjoyed attending races at the Hamilton County Speedway and was proud to sponsor many race cars over the years.

Keith's family includes his sisters: Rita (Rev. Mark) Oswald of Sheboygan, WI; Deb (Bob) Fisher of Waterloo, IA; DeAnn (Dave) Atchison of West Des Moines, IA; Cheryl Evans-Pryor of Des Moines, IA; and Norma Evans-Hoover of Coalville, IA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Kathy and Liz; and brothers-in-law Jimmy and Dan.

Keith will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, love of animals, and love for his family.
