Kimberly "Kim" Clabaugh

Kimberly “Kim” Clabaugh, 66, of Ames, died on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Visitation will be at Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 10:15-11:15 AM, followed by an 11:30 graveside service at Graceland Cemetery in Webster City.

Kim Jondal was born on June 16, 1960, in Brainerd, Minnesota, to Howard and Deloris (Cooley) Jondal. Following her education, Kim dedicated five years to Tones Spices in Ankeny before joining Barilla America, Inc. in Ames, where she worked for a decade. She later devoted herself full-time to caring for her father until his passing in 2015.

Kim loved cooking, working on jigsaw puzzles, and cheering on Iowa Hawkeye football. Above all, her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. She also found simple pleasure in her daily routines, especially her morning coffee—it had to be Folgers or Maxwell House, served strictly black with nothing added. Music was another favorite pastime, with country and classic rock as her go-to choices.

Kim’s family includes her children: Nichole (John) Aument of Allendale, MI, and their children Brandon (Jeanne McCall) Aument, Aaron Aument, Joshua Aument and Jeremiah Aument; Callie (Tien) Bui of Pleasant Hill, IA and their children Ronald Bui and Shawn Bui; John (Cassie) Lowe of Ames and their children Lyric Lowe, Dorian Lowe, Pandora Lowe, Damon Lowe; Brian Lowe of Ames, IA; and Sheila Tedder of Colo, Iowa and her children Logan Tedder and Gauge Tankersley; and sister Wanda Humlicek of Webster City. She was Preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Darrel Jondal and Harold Jondal.
