Lisa Nicole Pierce

Lisa Nicole Pierce, 40, of Rural Pilot Mound, died as a result of a car accident on July 8, 2020. Her family will have a private family gathering at a later date. Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) is caring for the family’s needs.

Lisa was born in Pocahontas, Iowa July 30th, 1979, to Ronald (Butch) and Dorene Geerdes. Her father “Butch” recently died of long time COPD and heart failure.

Lisa has three Children: Tyler (spouse Daniel) Pierce, of Arizona, Breanna (boyfriend Keven) Pierce and her two children Calvin and Brooklyn of Oregon; and daughter Shali Soder of Stanhope, who is currently living with Grandma Dorene. Her family also includes her two brothers: Joel (Michell) Geerdes and Shawn Geerdes; sister Jessica (Mike) Busick; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters Amy and Laura.

Lisa was fun and energetic. she enjoyed nature, creeks, woodland areas, and rock hunting. She was very proud of her Indian name “Dragonfly”. Lisa absolutely loved her family and God. She had many friends and we will all miss her.
