Lonnie Ramaeker

Lonnie L Ramaeker, 65 of Webster City, died Thursday in Ames.
Lonnie was born to Andy & Shirley (Neal) Ramaeker in Fort Dodge on March 12, 1947. He graduated from Eagle Grove High School and Jr. College. Between Buena Vista & Iowa State, he earned two Bachelore’s degrees & one Master’s.  He married Judy Larson on August 24, 1968 at St. Mary’s Church in Humboldt.
He worked at Vantec Inc. in Webster City for 17 years.  Lonnie was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Webster City.  He enjoyed feeding birds and hunting in his earlier years.
His family Includes: His wife Judy of 44 years; two sons Andy (Traci) Ramaeker & Tony (Kristin) Ramaeker all of Omaha, NE; four grandchildren Drew and Brianna, Kaylee and Grace. Siblings:   Bonnie Larson, Marie (Brian) McLaughlin, Carrie (Robert) Campbell, Cindy (Scott) Christensen, Donna (Joe) Zahn, JoAnne Ramaeker, Deb (Mike) Laake, Tom (Becky) Ramaeker, MaryAnn (Steve) Gant, Dan (Jennifer) Ramaeker & Rick Ramaeker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew (Joel Larson), and several Aunts & Uncles. Memorials will be at the discretion of the family.
