Nancy Clabaugh

Nancy Clabaugh, 66, of Webster City, died at her home on, Thursday, February 29, 2024.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com), in Webster City, IA, with a memorial service on Thursday, March 7, at 11:00 AM at Boman Funeral Home.

 

Nancy was born on October 7, 1957, to Marvin and Barbara (Curran) Glanzman, in California.  In 1976, she graduated from NE Hamilton High School, in Blairsburg, Iowa.  She married Charles Le Clabaugh in 1977, to this union three children were born:  Michael, Keith, and Kelly.  In 1987 the family moved to Stanhope where she began to work at Sparkies.  Nancy and Charles divorced in 2001.  She moved to Webster City, and worked at Electrulux until it closed in 2011, and then worked in the kitchen at the Superior Street Casey’s until she was unable to continue, due to illness.  On February 17, 2024, she married Kevin Niles.

 

Nancy found joy in the simple things - spending time with her family and creating precious memories with her grandchildren, she cherished every moment she spent with them.    Nancy also had a passion for exploring the United States, traveling far and wide to experience new adventures.  A special memory for her was being able to go up in a hot air ballon while in South Dakota.

 

Nancy’s family includes her husband Kevin, of Webster City; two sons:  Michael (Alyssa) Clabaugh, of Clive, IA, and Keith Clabaugh of Jewell, IA; daughter Kelly (Rob) Allen of Ayrshire, IA; five grandchildren:  Amelia, Harper, Paige, Abygael, and Beau; two brothers:  Glenn Glanzman of Blue Earth, MN and Steve Glanzman of Williams, IA.  She was preceded in death by her parents; stepdad Max Moore and three siblings:  Susan, Michael and Patricia.
