Nancy Draeger

Nancy Lee Draeger, 77, of Stratford, Iowa, died on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.  A private family service was held at Cass Center Cemetery on Monday, April 29, 2024.  The family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) to care for their needs.

Nancy was born on January 14, 1947, in Hamilton County, Iowa to Russell and Mary (Jondal) Powell.  She married Charles Draeger on October 3, 1964, in Fort Dodge, Iowa.  She worked as a Scale Master at Hallet Material for 37 years.  In her free time, she liked flowers and crafting, she also enjoyed watching her grandson Hunter in Rodeos and granddaughter Harlee in her Activities.

Nancy’s family includes her husband of 59 years Charles; son Kevin Draeger, of Stratford; grandchildren Hunter (Lizzy Kuebler) Draeger of Alta, Iowa and Harlee (Cody Johnson) Draeger of Ames, Iowa; brother Riley of Webster City; sisters: Norma of Eagle Grove, Iowa, Karen of Webster City, Iowa, and Lois of Webster City Iowa.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and son Keith.
