Norma Jean Rasmussen, 96 of Webster City, Iowa died on Sunday, August 31, 2026. Visitation will be at Boman Funeral (www.bomanfh.com) in Webster City, on Friday September 5th, at 10:00 a.m. Followed by the Memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Graceland Cemetery following the service.
Norma was born on October 11, 1928, to Russell and Lillian Shehorn in Woolstock, Iowa. After completing High School, she married Richard Rasmussen on March 4, 1947, at Woolstock Methodist Church.
She was a member of the Webster City Church of Christ.
Norma’s whole life was her family. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends, knitting, crocheting and baking things for her family, and was proud to be the Women’s Webster City Country Club Golf champion numerous times.
Norma’s family includes her children: Marsha (Larry) Kasemeier, of Dubuque, IA, Bruce (Jill) Rasmussen, of Omaha, NE, George (Gloria) Rasmussen of Webster City, IA, Kris (Denny) Clouse, of Webster City, IA and Rick (Alayne) Rasmussen, of Webster City; ten grandchildren: Lisa (Josh) Derr, Mark (Sara) Kasemeier, Megan Rasmussen, David Rasmussen, John (Allie) Rasmussen, Katie Rasmussen, Grace Rasmussen, Laura (Cory) Edwards, Libby (Todd) Kraft, and Ben (Kelsey) Rasmussen; thirteen great grandchildren; and six step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Rasmussen; parents; parents-in-law; one child, one grandchild; two brothers; four sisters-in-law; and two brothers-in-law.
Memorials can be directed to Webster City Congregate Meals and St. Croix Hospice in her memory.
