Patricia "Patty" Brown

Patricia Lynn Brown, 71 of Webster City, IA died on Monday, January 24, 2022, at the Van Diest Medical Center in Webster City, IA. A celebration of Life will be held at 10AM on Saturday, January 29, at MAC Life Church in Blairsburg, IA. The family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) to care for their needs.

Patty was born on November 9, 1950, to Lyle and Betty Jean (Graham) Miller in Ft Dodge, Iowa. She had fond memories of growing up on the farm. Patty graduated from Webster City High School in 1969, and from Iowa Central Community College in 1971. She worked as a Lab Technician for the Hamilton County Hospital, and a receptionist for Mcfarland Clinic and Maharry Family Dentistry. Patty was a member of First Baptist Church in Webster City for many years, and more recently MAC Church in Blairsburg, Iowa.

Patty had a variety of interests and things she enjoyed, including potted flowers, music, going to car shows, baking pies, bread, and other treats, decorating for the holidays, and doing crafts. She had the gift of hospitality, and loved to share with others, by making them food, having people over, and writing and sending cards. She loved her dogs, Pretty and Lovey. Patty loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Most important to her was her faith in Jesus Christ.

Patty’s family includes: her husband Bob; bonus children: Mindy Brandner of Denver, CO, and Mike (Danielle) Brown of Minneapolis, MN; Children: Joy (Aaron) Fopma of Jewell, IA, Lori (Todd) Hartnett of Webster City, IA and Joshua (Jamie) Flugstad of Webster City, IA; grandchildren: Logan (Iva) Foose and their children Ian & Deliah, Collin (Emily) Foose and their son William, Nick Jaber, Brittany Fopma, Trey Foose, Jordan (Michaela) Hartnett, Carson (significant other Madi Schwering) Hartnett, and Kali Hartnett; furry grand-baby Morgan; brother Larry (Sandy) Miller of Stanhope, IA; sisters: Cindy (Rob) Kuebler of Story City, IA and Becky (Darren) Housberg of Osceola, IA; and sister-in-law Ruth Verbrugge. She was preceded in death by her parents.
