Randy (Blue) Balsley

Randy “Blue” Balsley was born on January 4, 1955 to Arnold Junior and Julie Ann (Nelson) Balsley in Webster City, Iowa.  He grew up and attended school in Webster City.  After moving to Texas, he worked as an appliance repair technician. He returned to Iowa where he worked at Vantec and Kenco.  Blue would consider it a great day if he could spend it fishing and catch “The Big One”. He also enjoyed spending his time taking things apart to see how they worked or fixing them.
His family includes: his father; brother Rick of Snowflake, AZ; sister Becky Dixon of Webster City; and several nieces and nephews.  Randy was preceded in death by his mother, and his brother (Rodney).

Randy (Blue) Balsley, 59, of Webster City, died Thursday April 10, 2014 at his home.  His memorial service will be at Boman Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 16 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Kari Foss officiating.  Friends may arrive one hour before the service and/or stay after the committal service for visiting with the family.  Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Webster City.
