Renee Hinz, 87 of Webster City, died on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at the Paula Baber Hospice Home, in Ft. Dodge, Iowa. Private family services will be held at a later day. The family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (Bomanfh.com) to care for their needs.
Renee was born on September 11, 1936, to Noel and Edna (Seelow) Huntsinger, in Wauwatosa, WI. In 1954, she graduated from North Division High School in Milwaukee, WI. She married Harold Hinz on February 4, 1967. She worked as a loan officer at Landmark Credit Union in Milwaukee for many years, before she retired.
Renee was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Webster City. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading People magazines, watching home improvement shows on HGTV and Hallmark movies, especially ones with Tyler Hynes, her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Renee’s family includes: her son Gregory (Melissa) Hinz, of Waterford, WI; four grandchildren: Megan (Josh) McFarland of Webster City, IA, Mandy (Alex Sevedge) Hobert of Webster City, IA, Matthew Hendrix of Janesville, WI, and Alex (Allissa) Hinz of Norwalk, Iowa; five great-grandchildren: Scarlett & Elliott McFarland, Owen & Vada Hobert, and Parker Hinz. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Davia Hinz; and three brothers: Noel, Wayne and Lyle.
